Talk to Strangers! is a multimedia project consisting of a series of videos, drawings, photographs and an installation.. The title of this project is the slogan of a popular online video chat room, where individuals are allowed anonymous contact with strangers from different countries of the world via a webcam. With the help of make-up, lighting and clothes, Iza Pavlina introduced herself as a 14-year-old girl at the chat room and took part in many conversations. Her attention was focused mainly on the occurrence of pedophilia among older users of the portal. She does not want to moralize, but to shed light on and highlight the global issue of sexual preference disorders and the occurrence of pedophilia on the World Wide Web. Despite the infamous position of the older interlocutors, we must not forget to ask ourselves who is manipulating and who is manipulated, who is the predator and who is the victim.
